1. DSLR: DSLR is a digital single lens reflex camera. The reflex design scheme is the primary difference between a DSLR and other digital cameras. Digital SLR cameras, along with most other digital cameras, generally have a mode dial to access standard camera settings or automatic scene-mode settings.
2. JPEG: is a commonly used method of lossy compression for digital photography. JPEG typically achieves 10:1 compression with little perceptible loss in image quality, and is the file type most often produced in digital photography.
3. ISO: ISO is actually a common short name for the International Organisation for Standardization.
4. Aperture: A device that controls the amount of light admitted through an opening. In photography and digital photography, aperture is the unit of measurement that defines the size of the opening in the lens that can be adjusted to control the amount of light reaching the film or digital sensor.

-I did about 6 out 9 of the project this semester
8. What grade do you feel that you have earned in here and why?
- I think I got B in this class considering I didn’t do 2 projects and 1 weekly assignment. Also, I turned in some of my photos late.
9. What makes a photo art?
- great lighting, composition, emotion, and communication
